My new word
In literacy we have been given a task to discover and learn a new word. The word I choose means fighting and or having an argument. The word I have chosen is CONFLICT. To help remember the word conflict I will think of when me and my brother have a fight.

To support my learning I ask you to comment as follows:
1. Something positive - Begin with a greeting. Talk about something you like about what I have shared.
2. Thoughtful - A comment that will mean something to me to let me know you read/watched or listened to what I had to say. - use any language.
3. Something helpful - Give me some ideas for next time or ask me a question.
Encourage me to make another post

Hi again Isla, interesting word you have chosen I hope there wasn’t too much conflict between you and your brother during lockdown. :)) Now that you know what conflict means I wonder if you could tell me what a conflict of interest would be?
ReplyDeleteHi Isla. CONFLICT is a great word for your task. It can have a huge impact at times however I like to think there’s a lesson that comes with it. Sadly that’s not always the way.
ReplyDeleteIt’s great learning about new words and meanings it makes your writing more interesting.
I hope you and your brother have made up. These things are just a part of growing up unfortunately as I said there’s usually a lesson in there somewhere.
Do you enjoy discovering new words and meanings?
