Kiamanawa
Horses.
When you are riding a horse you should wear long pants or jodhpurs to stop your legs chafing or pinching against the saddle , and closed in shoes and with heel if you have any. Avoid wearing clothing that can catch against the saddle and stirrups because that could cause an accident.
There are around 58,372,106 horses in the world. A Falabella is one of the most tiny ponies in the world a fully grown one is about 1 metre tall. The smallest ever horses are Thumbelina who is 43 cm and einstein who is not even one meter tall.
Kaimanawa are one of the only native horses in New Zealand. In Maori Kaimanawa means Gardener. Kiamanawa are meant for their hardiness and temperament.Usually Kiamanawa are found in the wild but in some farms they are kept as pets to do showjumping, cross country , hunter cross but not as much dressage.
Kaimanawa are endangered species and they are sensitive to loud noise.
