Maths and Volume

 Today for maths we did area and volume problems. One of the problems were...

V= Width x length x height

= 6m x 8m x 4m

= 192 M3

I like doing this sort of maths even though at times it is quite hard. I also learned that you have to times the length width and height together so you can find the volume.

  1. Isla, good effort but a picture with work on it to show what it is you are actually doing would help. You must show that in volume we work in mm3, cm3, m3. Use the lower case 'm'. More learning tomorrow. Can you link this maths to real life scenario's of when you'd use it? Keep sharing and blogging.
